# Get Help

Ran into an issue? Follow this guide.

**Watch this 2-minute video on how to get help in Dyad**

First, I recommend searching the docs (see the search bar in the top left) — it's the fastest way to find an answer. But if the docs don't help, keep reading.

## Options

**Which option should I use?**

- If **Dyad** is broken, use **Report a Bug**.
- If **your app** is broken, use **Upload Chat Session**.

### Report a Bug

The best way to report a bug is to click the **Help** button in the bottom left, then choose **Report a Bug**. This files a GitHub issue and includes your system info and recent logs.

You'll be able to review the information before submitting to ensure nothing sensitive is shared.

### Upload Chat Session

If you're having trouble with AI responses in Dyad, upload the chat session. This includes the chat messages and the relevant parts of your codebase used as context.

Click the **Help** button in the bottom left, then choose **Upload Chat Session**. You'll be able to preview what will be uploaded to Dyad’s private server, then click **Upload**.

After uploading, make sure to **open a GitHub issue** — this allows me to follow up with you.
